What the problem actually is.
Every programme we run touches children, so child protection is not a separate initiative but a condition of operating. Staff and volunteers are screened, trained and bound by a published policy, and there is a route to report concerns that does not run through the person a concern might be about.
The direct work concentrates on the moments a child's education ends: a family shock, a migration, a marriage. Bridge classes bring children who have dropped out back to grade level; retention support covers the small costs - uniform, transport, exam fees - that quietly decide attendance.
Online safety has become a substantial part of this, and it is uncomfortable to admit that connecting a village creates a risk that did not exist before. We treat that as our responsibility to address, not somebody else's.
Who this is for: Out-of-school and at-risk children, adolescents, and the teachers and parents around them.

Each of these is funded with its running costs included - stipends, repairs, follow-up - because that is what decides whether it survives past the first year.
Bridge classes
Catch-up teaching that returns out-of-school children to age-appropriate grade level.
