In-kind giving
Working laptops, network equipment, professional services and end-of-life electronics we recycle responsibly.
Companies with equipment, services or expertise to contribute
Best for
- IT refresh cycles
- Surplus network equipment
- Pro bono professional services
In-kind is genuinely useful to us and we are honest about when it is not. Working laptops and tablets go straight into device libraries. Network equipment goes into community connectivity sites. Professional services - legal, audit, design, translation - free up money for delivery.
Equipment past its useful life is still welcome: Second Life routes it to certified recyclers and returns a certificate. What we cannot use, we will tell you rather than accept and quietly dispose of.
What actually happens, step by step.
- 01
Send us a list of what you have and roughly when it is available
- 02
We confirm what we can genuinely use, and say what we cannot
- 03
Collection arranged, with certified data destruction where relevant
- 04
You receive a receipt, and a recycling certificate where applicable
There is no payment form on this website. Every route ends in a conversation with a person, so nothing is collected from anyone who has not first seen our accounts and had their questions answered. Write to [email protected].
Indicative costs.
Reviewed annually. We will always tell you what a specific contribution covers before you commit to it.
