Unglamorous work that lasts.

We are a small team doing the parts of development that do not photograph well - maintenance funds, follow-up calls, twelve-month retention tracking. If that sounds like the right kind of boring, we would like to talk.

Why here

What working at the Foundation is actually like.

  • Work that reaches a village

Programme staff spend real time in the districts they run. Nobody here designs a water project they have never visited.

  • Measured honestly

We report survival at three years and retention at twelve months. Your work is judged on what lasted, not on what launched.

  • Learn across sectors

Connectivity, health, water, livelihoods, elderly care and safeguarding sit in one organisation, and people move between them deliberately.

  • Safeguarding first

Every role is screened and trained before it starts. Nobody is placed on an incomplete check, however urgent the need.

  • Care in the basics

Health cover for you and dependants, flexible hours, and field travel and accommodation properly paid rather than reimbursed late.

  • Small team, real ownership

We are deliberately small. A programme officer here carries more responsibility than they would at a large implementer.
