Why it works the way it does.
Connected Classrooms began with a complaint from a headteacher: the lab donated three years earlier had six machines, no internet, and a padlock on the door because nobody could be blamed for a broken computer.
So the model changed. We fund the lab, the connection, the electricity, a trained teacher's stipend and a repair budget as one package, for three years at a time. If a school cannot commit to opening the room daily, we do not build it.
The result is unglamorous and durable: 310 labs, most of them still running years after the ribbon was cut, and a maintenance record we publish per district.
